They install pipes under roads, interstates, highways to either move products like water or sewer or hold service or cable lines.
In order to accomplish this mission they use auger boring, pipe ramming, directional drilling, tunneling, micro-tunneling, pipe jacking and pilot tube micro-tunneling methods.
Their 95 employees work in Exeter at the main office, pipe yard and shop as well as on jobsites nationwide. Their pipe yard in Exeter sells steel pipe and feedlot fencing locally.
| This picture is of a pit constructed for a 930 Lineal Foot crossing of 78" for a sanitary sewer line project. The name of the project was Salt Valley Trunk Sewer; Lincoln, Neb. The project was completed by the microtunneling method. The H Beam and steel-plated pits were constructed by Horizontal Boring & Tunneling Co. employees. At the time of the picture, the crew is setting a 20' section of pipe. |
